No, I’m not Vince.

Don’t worry… he’ll be back very soon.

While he’s enjoying a well-deserved vacation, I thought I’d borrow this space for a week.

I’m Indira, the person behind the marketing at UCC, and I thought it would be fun to give you a little behind-the-scenes look at what happens before this email lands in your inbox every Thursday.

When most people think about marketing, they picture social media posts, advertisements, or graphic design.

And yes… I spend plenty of time doing all of that.

But after some time at UCC, I’ve realized that the most important part of my job isn’t creating content.

It’s asking questions.

Every week, we start with the same one:

“What information could genuinely help someone this week?”

Sometimes that question turns into one of the Q&A videos Vince and I record for social media.

Other times, it becomes one of our Bi-Weekly Updates, where we take a headline from the news and explain what it could mean for your financing decisions.

Sometimes it’s a Deal Highlight that reminds us every mortgage story is different.

Over the past few months, we’ve also been working on something that happens completely behind the scenes.

We’ve redesigned the way we communicate with our clients.

That includes educational email journeys, renewal reminders, follow-up campaigns, birthday messages, Google Review requests (and while we’re on the subject… if you’ve ever had a great experience with us, a Google Review

truly means a lot to our team), and resources designed to share helpful information at the right time.

Everything has the same goal:

To be useful.

Because the truth is, anyone can send an email.

The hard part is sending one that’s actually worth opening.

If one article helps someone better understand today’s market…

If one video answers a question they’ve been wondering about…

Or if one simple tip helps someone make a smarter financial decision…

Then we feel we’ve done our job.

Thank you for spending a few minutes with us each week and for allowing us to be a small part of your financing journey

We’ll keep working behind the scenes to make sure every email we send is worth your time.

All the best,
Indira

P.SIf you’re not already following us on social media, we’d love to have you there. We regularly share mortgage tips, market updates, and weekly Q&A videos with Vince. See you there.
